This bench was a collaboration with Pirate Duck Design. The shape of the leg reminds me of a ballet slipper mid pose. The number of slats and spacing help to move the eye along the piece. While the splashes of blue give fixed points of interest. A rod gives it structural strength.  ¾ birch plywood and ¾ Valchromat. 36x18x18
